During the COVID-19 pandemic, Crosstrain Fight Club faced one of the toughest phases in its journey as lockdown restrictions forced the temporary closure of its facilities. Founder Siddharth Singh revealed that the academy shut operations even before the national lockdown to prioritize athlete safety in a close-contact sport like mixed martial arts. Despite financial setbacks, including the closure of their Saket headquarters and Gurgaon franchise, the team used the downtime to rebuild stronger by creating a new state-of-the-art training academy. With limited class sizes, sanitization protocols, and flexible training schedules, Crosstrain adapted to the “new normal” while continuing its mission of developing elite fighters and growing combat sports culture in India.
